This semester isn't completely kicking my ass, but it's getting close. Thank god I didn't sign up for 18 units again in the fall. I will actually have a weekday off during the fall, huzzaaahhh! Definitely looking forward for next school year. I will post the stuff I've been doing in school when I have pictures. Augh, I need to do personal stuff again. I have all this new knowledge, but I'm still in that awkward stage where all the knowledge is there, but my brain is having a hard time applying it to something that isn't drawing from a live model. Internalize, damnit!

Oy! I'm still alive, really. This semester hasn't really been one for much personal inspiration, unfortunately, but hopefully things will get better. At least we know I can render now if I feel the need to. So happy to be on winter break. Seriously looking forward to figure block (aka figure boot camp; that's 6 hours of figure drawing/painting/portraiture twice a week; 12 hours of figure, whoo!) next semester. I'll finally learn how to draw (human) people! :D I really need to work on my skillbuilding and also apparently my draftsmanship. Anna will learn not to draw like a sketch tornado, damnit! Ahh, sorry for the inactivity! I'm really busy with work this summer, not to mention I'm stricken with awful art block again, so I have barely anything new to show for these past few months. I recently got a new sketchbook and I'm hoping to start a year-long sketch-a-day project (though technically I started a week or so ago but completely forgot about it...but I gots a better sketchbook this time and I'll try to have more direction for it) as well as brainstorming concepts another little project I've been thinking about lately.
